Encounters with Modern Physics

August 30, 2017

Professor Samuel Ting, MIT, received the Nobel Prize in 1976 for the discovery of the so-called J / PSI particle.

He has since made a number of crucial discoveries in particle physics, and he is currently the leader of a large project (AMS-02) researching dark matter, antibody and cosmic radiation based on the International Space Station (ISS).

Samuel Ting will be the first in the series of international top scientists who set the road past Danish IAS.
The 81-year-old professor is in Denmark to attend the physics conference DAνCo, which will be held in Odense from 28 August.

The lecture with Samuel Ting takes place on Friday 1 September from 16:00 to 17:00 in Auditorium 100 at SDU, Campusvej in Odense.
